The MSHP Residency Program Committee is pleased to host a webinar series geared towards preparing newly matched residents and fellows for the Massachusetts MPJE. The focus of this webinar series will be the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy regulations, policies, advisories, and pharmacy-related requirements within Massachusetts General Laws (MGL).
A background understanding of federal pharmacy law will be required.

PGY1 and PGY2 Residents and Fellows matched to Massachusetts residency and fellowship programs; pharmacist practitioners new to Massachusetts and joining a MSHP member institution; and individual MSHP members. Other interested healthcare professionals are welcome to register. Managers and directors, please encourage your newly matched residents and practitioners new to Massachusetts to attend this important webinar series.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the review you should be able to:
1. Describe the pharmacist’s requirements under 247CMR, Mass Board of Pharmacy’s Policies and Advisories
2. Describe the pharmacist’s responsibilities when dispensing medications in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
3. Describe the legal requirements under MGL Chapter 94c and MGL Chapter 112
4. Explain the composition of the Mass Board of Pharmacy and review of MGL Chapter 13
5. Explain the pharmacist’s role in compliance with federal, state and local laws.
Registration Fees
This event is free for PGY1 residents, PGY2 residents and fellows who have matched to MSHP member institutions, new pharmacist practitioners joining MSHP member institutions and individual MSHP members.

The one time registration fee is $100 for non-members. This includes both the series. Individual membership pricing is $35 for First Year Pharmacists/residents and $50 for experienced pharmacists.
